Kibbutz Ein Gedi is enjoying the help of volunteers from all over the globe. Nowdays we have about 70 volunteers at one time. Most of them help in the tourist buysnesses, some in the farming and industry activities, and others in the kitchens etc...
The volunteers to the Kibbutzim have arrived in Israel in the early 1960's. In those days most of them worked in the fields, since the Kibbutzim in those days where involved mainly in farming.
For some volunteers this is only a short episode in their travel adventure, for others it is a very meaningful experience. Some of Ein Gedi Kibbutz members were once upon a time volunteers.
The volunteer corner is going to be a place where you, ex-volunteers can express your thoughts & memories about your stay in Ein Gedi. Tell your story, add something about what you do today, put you e-mail address so others can contact you, send special pictures if you like, give advice to those who plan to follow your track, and enjoy browsing in Ein Gedi Links site.
